How can I get my boss to understand that I was only stealing from the petty cash fund because I need a raise?

Do you think that if I brought it to his attention, he would understand my dire need and give me the raise? I really don't want to use the old stand-by of sleeping with him unless I have no other choice. He's not very attractive.

That schmuck better understand. Chances are you deserve the money anyway.

Yeah try not sleeping with him if you can help it. Sleeping with goofy looking dudes is not ok. That's why I don't sleep with them. That and because I'm not gay.

Well I might be a little bit gay. Who knows.

If you need the money, get a second job.

Go to school get a better education and get a better paying job.

Your thoughts are flawed and you can be fired in most jobs for stealing. That is a mark on your permanent record, and can stop a future employer from hiring you.

Make restitution now. Do without the little things, live with a relative, get out of a destructive thinking. That is the only answer.

Sleeping with the boss is WRONG and can very well, be used against you... starting tomorrow.

I'm sorry to hear that you've felt the need to resort to stealing to make ends meet. I know that the economy sucks right now, but stealing from your boss isn't going to make things better. Stealing is illegal, and it will catch up to you sooner or later. It may not be by your boss, but it could easily be a co-worker who decides to blow the whistle on you.

If you honestly feel that you deserve a raise, talk to your boss about it, explain your current financial situation, and give proof on why you deserve a raise---precentages on increase in production and sales that you've done for example. But I wouldn't count on much--besides maybe given a pink slip for your recent actions.

Your best bet for this situation? Get another job, pay back every single penny that you took, and be ready to face the consequences for your actions. It could possibly mean jail time.

If you're gonna do the crime you've gotta do the time. What kind of seedy place do you work at where sleeping with him would be an option.

If you are going to admit to "it" on line you should at least change your avatar. What if someone recognizes you.

Definately do not tell him you were stealing. that would **** everything up. if he really is unattractive then he probably doesnt have sex very often so flirt with him a little bit then tell him how bad you need a raise. he probably will give it to you then and there. if not, you can always go to plan B and screw him.

    Uuumm..

stealing or sex isnt the answer, for your raise,

    causally bring up the subject.

Or start talking about all the money proble3ms you have&& end wit

"... a raise would help alot, it wud take the huge migrane of my head."

You DO look like an under-the-desk-kinda' girl. And you're a thief? That's 2 strikes.... maybe try lowering your spending habits and your "old stand-by" might just become that.

Give him a gift first then explain your problem, not one that cost money but on you can hold over him later... I'm sure you can think of the perfect gift.

Just because you 'need' a raise doesn't mean you've earned it. He's not in business for your health.

Lol... your questions are always brilliant. I heart you.

Unfortunately I can't think of a clever response, lol. That is why I tend to star these kinds of questions without answering. But I had to give you props.
