If a righteous man suffers brain damage and becomes a wicked man, would he still get into heaven?
We know brain damage can change personalities, so would God forgive the man's evil ways that came after his injury, or would he forget about the righteous man he once was? For that matter, how did his personality change in the first place?

I don't understand how a person's personality could change if he or she has a soul that's separate from the body. If a person is righteous all his or her life and then suffers a trauma that makes him or her a bad person, the good person no longer exists - so unless God can magically take the good person and send the new, bad person to hell it all seems pretty much like BS to me.

A newborn has a sinful nature [Ps. 51:5]. However, sin does not condemn him until he is made aware of right and wrong, and chooses to be unfaithful, unbelieving, or disobedient towards God...and we are all sinners [Rom 2:23]
We are saved by faith alone in Christ...not our works in any way, wicked or good. Now a man saved by faith, has the indwelling Holy Spirit sanctifying him, creating in him a desire to do good, not wicked.
I suppose, however, through a brain injury, a man can become wicked. Perhaps he chooses then to categorically reject the Spirit, as outlined in Heb. 6:4-6. Then I would say, he is doomed. However, God takes care of His children, and I challenge anyone to find a true believer who experienced such a situation and renounced God.
God knows your heart, as well as superficial characteristics. Brain damaged or not, Jesus said, My children know My voice.
As far as forgiving subsequent wicked ways in this hypothetical example...Christ already paid the price for them over 2000 years ago. And that sacrifice is all-sufficient.

I've wondered this thing before like if i got hit in the head and i have complete memory loss and let's say i denounce the Lord(heaven forbid) i believe that God would remember my youth and realize i was saved and not in the right mind I would hope but i don't know the clear answer on that. I also believe that certain people will never understand the gospel of Jesus and therefore never accountable God is the judge and he's righteous and loving i hope this helps.

what do you know about righteous man or Jesus for that matter? Do you think any Joe Schmoe out there carrying a bible is a righteous man. so God can't protect His righteous man. man , why don't you leave the word of God alone and go read some Darwin.
sorry to say ,you are in error.
So Jesus is going to save a man to serve Him and He is going to allow that this man go crazy. what is that going to do for Christ? when you are in your right mind read the book of acts, and i think that will help you.
no wonder that people like you bark at these verses ;1cor.14:34-35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

If God exists then God's intelligence must know about that already in the first place, so yes.

Only God knows the answer to that question.
