Excellent movie. We both cried at some of the parts. Hubby and I have a loving solid marriage, but the movie did bring back painful memories of what we dealt with in the first failed marriages.
IMO its a must-see for every couple - whether you have a strong marriage now or have problems. I'm planning on getting the Love Dare book in case we might need it to help others in their marriages.

For me the movie hit really close to home because my husband is currently going to school to be a firefighter/holding down two other jobs. I am a teacher and our schedules are totally opposite. So, we rarely see eachother. So it was scary to see how hard it was going to be when he does become a firefighter in terms of seeing eachother/ finding time for eachother. But, it was also reassuring to see the message that it can and will work out for us. I watched the movie with my husband and we'll be sure to watch it again whenever we start to feel like firefighting and wife is too difficult! :)

I think that movie is great. Maybe it doesnt have the best acting in the world, but it is a great film. It illustrates how a marriage is supposed to work and how to fix it when its broken. Seriously culturally we give up way way way too easy on marriage, like we expect marriage to be easy.

It truly ministered to me. I loved it. What I like about it is when the firefighter lets his pride interfere in their marriage. At the end they both forgive each other and let the past go and start a new beginning. That was my favorite part. Forgiving each other just like Jesus forgave us.

i think that movie was a big inspiration for me. i was going through the same thing with my husband. the movie touches you in a way unimaginable. i never thought someone could direct a movie so true, based on real life, real problems, things that men do, for selfish reasons. i love that movie so much

I thought it was great! It really made you reevaluate what marriage means and what it means to love someone unconditionally through sickness and health, good times and bad times!!!
