No connection. It's more likely to be connected to the economy, job loss, & depression. Sometimes that sort of thing is contagious, not just from being a "copycat" crime, but also from a certain mood in the atmosphere. It's really heartbreaking, isn't it? Here's to happier times!

It has nothing to do with B.O.
The World is suffering hard times right now, and I think a lot of these people are/were either sociopaths, or were on mind-altering anti-psychotic drugs, which sometimes have side effects that do that opposite of what they should do.

Crime has risen throughout the years in America, so that is the reason
why, and B.O. selection by millions of American people has nothing
to do with it.
