Of course. I'm forward looking and that's the future. I think we should put far more money into it.

1. we are sending 700 billion out of the country for oil. Some of that goes to countries that support terrorism. If we can reduce that by any amount, it's a plus

2. He supports wind energy, course he is installing a wind farm in the Texas panhandle, but still, clean energy

3. He supports vehicles on CNG(compressed natural gas) furthering the reduction on importing oil plus cng has fewer emissions and is cheaper.

All in all, good ideas even if he stands to make a buck..

I believe in wind energy and natural gas but we will never be completely free of our need for oil. I don't think he has said just say not to big oil. He is big oil. I think Wishbone Pickens remark indicates that you realize his college loyalties and his millions of dollars he spends on a failing second rate football team.

He has made no secret of his investment in the same- the question becomes, will the oil lobby allow it? As a big investor in America, for better or worse, why would he sabotage that? I'm more concerned with those who have plenty of money that can be moved about the globe like dominoes- Cheney's corporation that now headquarters itself in Dubai, etc. 700 billion a year and growing is our oil expense.

Getting away from energy from oil is a pipe dream. Ain't going to happen because it won't work. They llike to talk about electric toy cars as if we can power all of them with solar or wind. We could never generate enough power from solar or wind to provide even 30% of what we would need. If it sounds too good to be true, its because it is.
