Can we now officially add Asians to the list of races who randomly shoot a lot of people after being wronged.?

Here is the issue. Asians are known as a "model minority" as in they have lower rates of health disparities along with mental health illnesses. However, there are many sub-groups who are masked by this who have just as many health disparities in other racial and ethnicity groups. Because of this title of the model minority, many issues within this community are overlooked. And often times, they show mental illness, depressive symptoms so forth that may not be accordingly to the DSM IV. Many times they may show somatic symptoms. Because of this, mental health issues are overlooked. This is exactly what happened with V. Tech, because the kid was Asian, they thought that he couldn't have a mental health issue, resulting in an incident that could have been prevented earlier if someone just looked further into things.

Where I live they have always been in that group. I have seen a lot of Asians doing the same things that blacks and latinos are stereotyped as doing. They drink heavily, they have been known to form street gangs, and they deal drugs. Must of what they do is confined to the Asian communities, with their victims usually being Asians so you don't really hear alot about it.

I spose. This sucks.
