PLEASE PLEASE help me!?
Hi,
Today I was at guitar lessons and I was singing while I was playing.
I was having trouble doing the doe-rae-me scale. I did doe-rae-me-fa but I couldn't do so-la-de-doe. (I'm sorry if I didn't spell it right, excuse me)
And my teacher said my voice was in a D flat range?
I sing country music, could you give me some songs in that range or people who sing in that range? I never knew singing was so difficult, I knew you had to know how to read note, and such.
But anyways, could I be in a better range? How could I do so?
Also, is that bad?
How can I get the scale right? I've tried doing the scale on the guitar and piano but like I said, I can get so-la-de-doe.
Thank you so very much.

well, If you can't finish the scale its b/c you're starting too high. try starting a few notes lower, you don't always have to start on middle c or whatever.
as for songs, I don't know any specific songs, but the site below has a trial, that slows down any song you put on it so that you can easily learn it on the guitar, and you can change the key of any song and learn it that way, so that it will be in a key more friendly to your vocal range :)

You really should sit down at the piano and practice singing to the keys. It takes time but you should be able to get through it.
