Should the UK stop student visas from Pakistan?

Eleven of the twelve men held in the terror raids were

Pakistanis whose applications for student visas

were rubber stamped by the Home Office.

Of those twelve granted visas only one was studying

at a reputable institution. Officials also believe they

lied about their financial resources.

Student Visas are a major loop-hole in Britain's border

controls and need tightening up. If we have to stop these

visas altogether, then so be it.

Seems Manchester was to be the target this time, one wonders

where the next is going to be.

I think we need better immigration regulations! Maybe they should stop with the student visas from Pakistan until Pakistan really start doing something about the terrorists there! Obviously I'm not calling all Pakistanis terrorists but they do have terrorist organisations there and it's too dangerous for people here!

No they shouldn't.

I dont have any idea how many Pakistani students have paid to study here, completed their studies and have left, both supporting the universities in the UK and improving their own economy. Other than the 10 that have been arrested I have no idea how many are here currently.

However what is clear, is that more checks need to be made into both the background of these students and also where and who they will be studying with.

The 7-7 bombers, the airline plot and now the current "Easter plot" has all involved bombers who have used Pakistani passports to get bomb making training inside Pakistan then return to the UK to carry out the attacks.

One attack/plot not doing anything makes sense. This is the 3rd time and inaction is insanity. Wake up UK. Yes they should cancel all future student visas, not make this retroactive.

Yes they should stop students coming in from all the Asian countries. We're full to bursting with foreigners anyway so it's time to say NO to any more. The few bad ones have spoiled it for the rest. I never realised how evil certain 'races' were until recently, it seems they are taught to be wicked and malicious from birth by people who, in turn, were brought up the same way.

Defiantly. Its just another way for immigrants to enter the country under false means. Not everyone entering on student visa are here under false pretences, but the system is been taken advantage of, and should be stopped.

The UK should stop ALL immigration, especially from Pakistan.

They didnt give Germans students Visas to come here during WW2.

Not all student's from Pakistan are terrorists...but Student Visa's should be stopped (cancelled)

if "institutional racism" can exist in the police ( Stephen Lawrence Inquiry ) according to the PC Brigade, the same "logic" would apply to Pakistani students who must be "institutional racist" and therefore ALL visas should be stopped
