Not only can it make you crash, it can make you die.

By "pumping it into yourself" I assume you are referring to overdosing by the use of an epi-pen or similar device which has not been prescribed for you.

This is NOT an experiment you want to indulge in, it is extremely dangerous.

Adrenaline is the "fight or flight" hormone, when your body can do neither (as in the case of an overdose of epinephrine) it can create a "panic" in the body. This is severe stress and has severe consequences on the body and particularly the heart. Tachycardia, arrhythmia, and acute pulmonary edema are not joking matters and definitely not where you want to go. They cause extreme pain and possibly death.

If you are considering it, you may want to consult a psychiatrist or psychologist to investigate the reason.

Adrenaline is produced by the sympathetic nervous system within your body; this complex system composes part of the endocrine system and the adrenal glands are responsible for the production of adrenaline but the parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for the calming of the body and therefore it's really responsible for the crash.

The parasympathetic nervous system triggers the release of other chemicals that calm the body to a state of normalcy and this sudden type of calming can be rather debilitating for some people or it can vary from situation to situation based on the initial response of the person to whatever got their SNS going in the first place.
