Are leftists mourning the deaths of the three Somali pirates?
{Sniff sniff} They were just citizens of the world community, right? And they deserved their day in court, right?

Yep, there will be a cigarette lighter vigil tonight at Bernadette Dorn's house, former Obama jump off point. William Ayers will lead the service and Rev Wright will damn America with more chickens comin home to roast. After that we're flying to Colorado for a massage and basket ball game in honor of the pirates. There will be the traditional bowing to show our respects. A collection will be taken up and the proceeds matched in triplicate with bailout funds to go to the Somali Pirates widows fund.

Thats the first happily ending story i've heard all day - Maybe all countries should take the same approach to all the other somali pirates out there

One of them will get his day in court, and he should consider himself lucky. The three others had the same opportunity, but they chose to roll the dice and crapped out.
I just can't imagine how these Somalians thought that they would come out on top in a fire fight with Navy Seals. They had to have known that there would be a showdown with the US Navy after they rejected the opportunity to surrender peacefully and be fairly tried in a court of proper jurisdiction.

The man saw an opportunity to jump ship again...this time there were military personnel close by. He took his chance and it worked this time.
Now they'll spin this as a planned rescue and Buckwheat will take credit.
Their plan included dealing with the pirates...and were in negotiations with one of them at the time.

IM not mourning the deaths of them slim balls they got what they had coming. If they would have surrendered they should have fried in court, But IM happier they got whacked. And you have the typical right wing attitude at the success of our NAVY that protected a American mariner.

Haha, right now they say no, but in a short while Sean Penn and Jon Stewart will come out and tearfully describe the conditions that led to the lives of piracy and suddenly the American captain will be getting the Joe the Plumber treatment from the left. You know it's true.
