Some people say the world will end about 2013 or so. Do you agree with that?

Well according to over 120 passages in the bible the world NEVER ends. As to the interest in the 2012 of dec 21,st, I do believe that this world will be very different by then, most notably that the great tribulation will be at its halfway point and the Anti-christ, powered by Satan will be ruling the planet. Take heart though christians looking for the Lord's return can expect a rapture out of this world before that. And the millenial return and rule of Christ will happen about 3 1/2 yrs later that the 2012 date mentioned.

If human beings are wiped out, it'll happen because we have failed to take care of ourselves and the planet. But most people will think God did it. In fact, the world would be in a lot better shape if people would get rid of this silly notion that a supernatural force is determining what happens here.

No. There were people saying that the world was suppose to end in 2000 and we're still here.
