It seems like a lot of people who think they are geniuses are really cranks or crackpots.

For example, in physics many people think they are smarter than Einstein, Newton, and Galileo all put together and they create their own theories of everything. Some of these people have never been to college and struggle with basic algebra but are convinced they are geniuses.

Is this an anomaly or are most people blind to their capability levels.
