Anti-Tax and Anti-Spending = Stupid?
Why are we who think the government should tax and spend significantly less than they do today called stupid and ignorant?
Deficit Spending hurts the working poor because the Federal Reserve buys our debt and prints dollars as a derivative of our government's debt. thus deficit spending causes inflation, which diminishes the buying-power of the poor and middle-class. We can't even keep "real wages" on par with the 19-Teen's.

When an argument cannot be refuted with facts or logically, the insults come out.

"Anti-Tax and Anti-Spending = Stupid?" Yes, actually. Because only the truly ignorant would think a government can run without money. And only the truly ignorant would think that anybody can spend their way out of debt.
There needs to be some tax collected in order to pay for those services that are actually needed.
And we definitely need to cut our spending.
"BUSH was the FIRST to give bailout money" WRONG. This is the second time that Chrysler got a bailout; have you forgotten?
"ALL economist AGREE (left and right ideologically) that we could NOT stand by and watch these big corporations fail or else the impact would've sent us into a DEPRESSION" WRONG Many economists suggest letting the big corporations fend for themselves, if they succeed - good, if they fail - good, that leaves room for small businesses to grow.

some issues to imagine about: a million. uncertain voters especially a lot continuously destroy to the challenger by technique of a heavy margin because finally, the incumbent couldn't seal the deal over the finest 4 years. 2. Romney is largely in the back of slightly contained in the polling. more desirable than sufficient for those undecideds to make the version. 3. Akins comments were positively risky, yet we've nonetheless were given an truly good type of election to pass. The Romney campaign has an truly good type of money to commence getting the message out about how poorly Obama's executed really governing. we are going to see.

So, let me ask you a question.... WHY DIDN'T you PROTEST WHEN BUSH SPENT???
Even when it came to BAILOUTS... BUSH was the FIRST to give bailout money... ALL economist AGREE (left and right ideologically) that we could NOT stand by and watch these big corporations fail or else the impact would've sent us into a DEPRESSION...
That's why even somebody like ME.. who didn't like Bush... did NOT complain about the 'bailouts' because no matter who you talked to they agreed that was teh ONLY way to avoid catastrophe.
On the TAX end.... Bush's 'tax cuts' did NOTHING to prevent ANY of this and IN FACT... may have been a factor in putting us in this mess..... as that was money that DIDN'T NEED to be 'spent' at a time of a declining economy and COSTLY WAR!!!

Zoom, you are right on. I have chatted with office workers with advanced degrees who think the government has infinite money for infinite projects. I heard those remarks three years ago! The "educated" person with the "infinite money" theory was an affirmative action liberal. The only short term solution to the spending madness may have to come from the U.S. Senate. Now, that is frightening.

I don't think it's stupid. I just think it's pointless. Public protests tend to go ignored by people in power. I haven't heard much as to actual action people intend to take to force the powers that be to listen. Do I need to attend a Tea Party to find out?

because these people think the government can solve all of our problems. They don't udnerstand economics, that with mroe money in the economy everyone's like becomes mroe rich.

Timing is everything...where were you when we wer eprotesting these things under Bush? (Oh yeah, you were too busy supporting him and his failed policies that eventually led us into the mess we're in now...and calling US Anti-American for protesting it before it got this bad as opposed to you now protesting after the fact when the spending is needed to fix the whole fricken mess...DUH!)

They protesting neither taxes nor spending. They just got a tax cut so please give us break on that line of bull.
These shills are protesting because their guy lost. And that's the unvarnished truth period.

Just where do these tea partiers think the money comes from to maintain these highways and air traffic routes. or to keep drinking water safe? How about the defend our country?
The next time one of these tea party people need to rely on any of those services, I suggest they call Limbaugh, Beck, or Hannity and ask them to care of those small details for them.
