I will probably catch it on DVD when it gets released. I have mixed feelings about the show. The first 10 Anita books totally rocked, but I suspect that they won't be totally true to the early Anita, especially since we all know she turns into a dysfunctional slut who claims to be a US Marshal but hasn't done any police work for 4 or 5 books (has she even gone into the office?). I was totally in love with the characters and am pretty bitter about the direction LKH has gone with the books. I'll probably wait for the reviews and watch if it turns out to be good.

No, actually. Not only does IFC not show on the regular cable lineup on my haunts, but I admired the Dresden Files and was still disappointed by the series (except Bob was MUCH COOLER in the series). Anita Blake is not my favorite vampire series -- that's still Chelsea Quinn Yarbro's St. Germain stories -- but I enjoy them enough so I shall stick to the books.
