My sister's dog just died from the anti-freeze poisoning. Someone soaked lunch meat in anti-freeze and threw it over the wall into her yard.

That is why I always walk my yard before I let my dog out. There's to many psychos out there!!!

The same thing happens to me... I have to go out and check my yard every day before I let my dogs out then stay out there with my dogs. I have a Rottweiler, Doberman and an American Bulldog... all are friendly dogs and love people I just have an *** as a neighbor. If your dog lives outside and or barks alot that could be the problem. My dogs are great dogs my neighbor just hates animals. Get cameras around your property it worked for me... Good luck with your puppy!

If the vet told you and you forgot, call his office and ask them to answer this question. I sincerely hope your dog survived and is doing better. And start watching him when he is loose on your property. You may have a poopy neighbor who just doesn't like any animal. BTW, does he bark when left alone in the yard? If so,it could be a neighbor who is disturbed with the barking and hasn't the gonads to tell you.

It could have been lots of things. I'd assume its probably something like rat poison. Its the most common thing people use to try and poison dogs. Just simply call your vet and ask him to remind you what the substance was.

    Did your dog die!?!

Oh my God! I am so very sorry. People will be so very cruel.

That is why I can count the people I trust on one hand and the dogs I love I need a calculator.

I am sorry for your loss. I would invest in a camera for my backyard before I get another dog. Who ever did this is an idiot.

Call your vet and ask. They'll have records. I'm so sorry that someone did this to your dog.
