Ghosts, Mediums, and Parapsychology [for research]?

I read something in a book recently (I think it was House Thinking, but I might be wrong) that people who experience these things are actually affected by electromagnetic waves. The book said these paranormal experiences often took place in places that had a great number of earthquakes. And the guy who was telling the story said he had his brain exposed to electromagnetic waves in a researcher's office for an article he was writing, and the experience was *remarkably* similar to one that he had in a house once.

If all this is the result of brains being stimulated in a particular way, that would explain why stories of ghostly happenings are so consistent around the world. Anyway, it's something you might want to look into for your research.

Well depending on who you ask and what exactly is going on some would say he is seeing dead people and that is perfectly fine but others would say he has a mental problem. Therapist are trained to never admit to ghost, spirits or anything of that. He should be encouraged not to say anything to these type of people about his ability again. I think that if you talk to him and help him get control of the situation it should get better. I have read that if you put salt around the house and around the windows that will help keep spirits out. Maybe you should do this and have him be a part of it. You could also use a sage smudge stick and clear your house of negative energy. Tell him that he can tell the spirits to leave him alone and they should listen to him. As he gets older is should get better. He is very special boy and he may grow out of this but you should never discourage him or make him think he is strange because of it. Only if the ghost tell him to hurt people or himself should you be worried and at that point it could be a mental illness. Do lots of research--the internet has a ton of info!

If you go to your nearest health food store (like Whole Foods) you should be able to find free magazines like Pathways or Life Pages and they have listings of healers and psychics in your area. If you call someone and tell them that you are doing this for school, I am sure you can find a few people who are willing to give you their time for free.

Have you ever researched the mothman? The story happened some time ago in Point Pleasant,WV.I have been there.There is a statue in the middle of the town that tells a story of the mothman.Im not sure how far out of your way it is but it may be worth researching.

That should be a short paper. Just write a small paragraph on your paper that says;

"Parapsychology is, for lack of a better word, ALL B.S. Furthermore, individuals involved in this endeavor, namely mediums, psychics, ghost hunters and people with similar professions, are ALL PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS. Thank you"

Feel free to write out the meaning of the acronym B.S.
