they are most likely saying no. From all the 'i guess' s' i've heard in my lifetime, about 90% of them have led to a no.

To me it's a yes but that they're not completely sure like if you ask them "Do you want to go to the movies?" and they say "I guess" it's like they're saying yes but that they are not so sure but overall it'll mean that they are not sure XD

totally depends
if you ask someone "does this look cute?" and they sound not so enthusastic
i know it's a no.
but if you ask them "do you want to go to the park?"
and they are like "I GUESS!"a
so i think thats a yes for sure.
but over all probably deep inside there saying NO.

Sounds like a reluctant yes. If they really mean no, they should have the guts to say it.

It depends the tone that they are saying it in.
If it's in a dismissive tone, it probably means probably not but let me think on it.
If it's enthusiastic, but something like their parents may say no would probably be leaning more to yes.

i think it honestly depends on the situation and how they say it.
usually though, i think it means yes, because they are just going along with what you are saying.
