Describe how it might be possible for twins to have two different fathers?

I do not have a picture or a diagram, but I can tell you how this happens and that it probably happens more often than we are aware.

Fraternal twins are the result of two eggs being fertilized by two different sperm. Those sperm can be supplied by different men. The intercourse need not happen the same day, either-because sperm can live in the female body for up to five days and because an egg is viable for up to 24 hours after ovulation, intercourse with more than one partner within that week or so could potentially result in twins with different fathers.

Once an egg is fertilized hormone signals are sent out to prevent further ovulation/implantation, so in order for two men to father twins, they would have to sleep with the woman at times very close to one another. This can happen with threesomes or just when a woman has sex with more than one man in a couple of days' time.

In order for this to happen, she would have to have released either two eggs at the same time, or an egg and an adjacent polar body. Polar bodies are genetically identical to the eggs produced in the same cell division, but it is much less likely that a polar body will produce a child, as it is small and contains few if any nutrients, but some scientists believe it can happen.

It is very unlikely, but in some cases a woman will produce 2 eggs instead of just 1. Then if she were to sleep with 2 different men around the same time (say 2 in one day or possibly 2 men 1 day apart) then one egg can be fertilized by one mans sperm and one by another mans sperm. It is also possible if it were to happen via IVF but I doubt someone would really do that.

I don't know of a picture or diagram to support this with...I just know what I know. Some women, not all can drop more than one egg at a time...and when that fertile female drops more than one egg and decides to have sex with two different men...they would have to be really close together...during her fertile period...there is a slight...not good...but slight chance that the babies can have two father's...I think the sex would have to be in a 24 hour period though...not sure...

there is no possible way that identical twins can have 2 different fatehrs but fraternal wins can in rare cases. if a woman ovulated twice or released two eggs and slept with wo different men in a close amount of time it could be possible

My friend was a surrogate mother and she ended up having twins for a gay male couple. A couple eggs from one mother was inplanted inside her, and a couple eggs from a different mother was inplanted inside of her. One egg from each mother ended up being fertilized, so the twins technically have different Mom's, and one Dad. Kinda cool huh :D There are other possibilities, but that's a personal experience of mine

2 different eggs, woman slept with two different men within same couple days. One man's sperm fertilized one egg, while the other man's sperm fertilized the other egg.

This is quite common for cats actually, not that women are cats haha.

If a woman releases two eggs. If she is having a threesome with two men it is very possible. It is possible but unlikely if she had sex with two men within the same day

I don't have any pics or diagrams. But a whore has sex with 2 different men within so many hours. Two different eggs. Two different sperms. Rarely happens. Obviously they are fraternal twins.
