What is so great about Ed Hardy?

Update:

I'm just curious. I think the look is okay, but what makes Ed Hardy so great? It's so expensive too!

I think that Ed Hardy, personally, is something that is pretty unique as compared to Abercrombie, which is pretty bland (and this is just my opinion lol) and Hollister.

Part of the appeal I think is its status, which is in part because of its high-end pricing. It's awful for people like me who want to buy some of the stuff (besides the leather coats, which I think are a bit much) but what it does is makes it seem "exclusive" and once you are able to buy one of his items, it's like the thing to get, a collector's item, it makes it "Above" those other stores. It sucks to be like that, but it's status. Just like people think they're bette rthan others, so do clothing brands lol (or at least designers behind them, at least in my opinion.)

If his hoodies were thirty dollars, everybody would buy them, and they wouldn't be as special and exclusive and celebrity-modeled anymore, you know? It has to have that appeal I suppose. But I agree it is becoming over-hyped and cliche lol.

Yeah, it's just the fact that it's expensive. Everything expensive is "in". All the girls in my school are rich, spoiled brats, so what they wear is: Abercrombie, Hollister, Juicy Couter, Coach, Victoria's Secret, Gucci, Guess, & the new thing, Ed Hardys. blah blah blah. I don't care for it.

Simply put Ed Hardy sucks and any person wearing it is a bafoon.

It's not great. It's just the next thing.

I saw only 5 or 6 people wearing it in the beginning of the year, but now it's everywhere.

It's just like Hollister/Abercrombie, another trendy store, just more expensive..
