You can do tools -> word count.. Unless you have the newer version of Microsoft Word 2007, under the tabs you would click "Review" and to the left there will be an ABC with a check - DONT HIT THAT, instead, look two columns over. where there are tiny icons. To the right of "translate" looks like an ABC and underneath it 123 - that is the word count for the newer version of Microsoft word. If that doesn't help, you can type into google "Word count" and there should be a few generators that word count for you. just copy and paste!
=) Hope that helps!

It has a word Count located in the tools bar.
Click Tools at the top of the application, the locate Word Count, click and it will display how many letters, characters etc your documents has.
If your using Office 2007, then your word count will be in the left hand bottom corner.
To view the amount of words on each page, simply highlight that page, then locate word count. You can select as many words you would like.
Hope that helps!

Yes! I am so happy that the program has it or else I would be so sad. Just go to the top where the toolbar is and click TOOLS and in the drop down menu it says WORD COUNT. It also tells you more than the word count.... :D
