Song I heard in a Zumiez store?

I heard this song playing in a Zumiez store (not that it matters what store it was in, just a little background info). It was kind of alternative/reggae-ish. The only part I can remember is a line in the song about someone becoming a prostitute to pay for their flute lessons, but that nobody would hire them, so they gave up their dreams of being a concert floutist. That wasn't what the whole song was about, but that line kind of stuck in my mind :). I fell in love with the song (it was hilarious!!!) and I was really hoping that someone could help me? Sorry the info is kind of vague (I couldn't remember the exact words and I didn't really want to look up 'flute prostitute' on google, lol!!).
