I need the BEST anti-virus/internet security software... PLEASE HELP!?

I am looking for the best anti virus / internet security program. I am not interested in Norton's or any other Symantec product. After being referred to Kaspersky, I read postings in the forum section of their website and I am not sure that Kaspersky would be a good fit as our new computer runs on Vista, and they seem to have A LOT of customer complaints.

The reason I ask is because I run a 2 computer small business office and last week our main computer completely crashed and we had to buy a new computer (hence why it is running on Vista). I want something that is user friendly but will ACTUALLY protect our computers. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

Price is not a factor, in fact, I'm not interested in the "free" softwares as we were running Avast when the computer crashed.

Kaspersky can act like malware itself... If price isn't a factor, I'd enlist the aid of a professional IT consultant who specializes in security. Personally, I would go with the ZoneAlarm suite. You should also invest in a hardware firewall. On top of that, put someone in charge of making sure that maintenance (definition/software updates, then full scans) occurs weekly (full virus, malware, spyware, adware). Don't rely on just one program to take care of all that automatically. Use a few different programs. I use 4 programs in addition to my anti-virus (SuperAntiSpyware, MalwareBytes, AdAware and Spybot S&D) and between the four, not much will last on this computer for long.

Eset Smart Security is good. It runs better than most security software on Vista. My first pick would be Norton 2009 which runs great on Vista. But you have ruled out Norton. Kaspersky would be my next pick, but again You have ruled that out. So go to the link and check out Eset. You will find that it does not cover as many areas as most Security suites, but is very strong in protecting your computer.

Kaspersky Internet Security or Trend Micro Internet Suite, Avast is also good if its the full professional version.
