Human organs trade in Albania by UCK: What is your opinion?
Michael Montgomery, sent in Albania from the Center for Investigative Reporting claims that hundreds of prisoners were murdered in Albanian camps by UCK in order to take their organs and use them for trade.
He also claims that the Hague International Court destroyed many of the evidence to hide that event.

What is your opinion of the above?
What does it mean for the "civilized" West World?
@ Nimadan
I'm Greek and I know very well what kind of people Albanians are. I assure you they are very capable of doing something like that! Their prisoners weren't Albanians.
Where do you think those organs went? London, Paris, NY etc. Isn't it an indication of West's morality?
Most importantly, what is your opinion on Hague Court stance on this issue?
@ Epi_USA
So, you have seen 100 Greek "volunteers" fighting along with Serbs and that is a proof that they committed some kind of massacre too?
We have Albanians in my country and statistics say that 7 out of 10 crimes have an Albanian involved. How do you explain that?
My country is an EU member and doesn't provoke massacres in other country's areas (i.e Kossovo) as Albania did with the backing of USA.
You think that this issue is ridiculous. OK. You have that right. But you didn't explain why the Hague Court kept that stance. Can you?

"7 out of 10 crimes committed by Albanians? Stop pulling statistics out of your ***. Most Albanians in greece work in jobs that only first generation immigrants would accept."
I'm sorry to disappoint you but it is an official police statistic.
You are right. It is sad that all those albanian illegal immigrants came to my country with their MSc & PhD but we gave them so shameful jobs! Are you serious?
You opened the prisons and all criminals came to my country. Of course I don't blame you for that but our stupid politicians.
You are talking to me and I'm one of those who believe that Serbians are our enemies just like Albania, FYROM, Bulgaria and Turkey.
I'm aware of the crimes that Serbians committed but the HUMAN ORGANS TRAFFICING CONDUCTED BY YOUR COUNTRY (ALBANIA) IS A FACT.

if you are so convinced that indeed that is the case than why even post a question on yahoo answers? do you know the purpose of this site? it is not an opinion website , but it is for people who do not know the answer to certain questions and to see if someone might have it. Secondly it seems like the purpose of what you have posted here is to disgrade Albania. As an Albanian myself i really don't appreciate it but I wouldn't be surprised if that did in fact happen in Albania because we are the poorest country in Europe and as a general rule when it comes to human beings they will try anything to survive. This type of crime ( and others) doesn't only happen in Albanian it occurs in every poor country. It is not because the people themselves are inherently bad but because there are outside societal occurrence that make these individuals result to that kind of behavior. I am not condoning that kind of behavior at all but i am trying to make you understand the reason for that and to try to make you see things from a different prospective. peace :)

"What does it mean for the "civilized" West World?"
WHY are you blaming the West for this? If Albania was near China, India, or Saudi Arabia, then rich people from those countries would be shopping for Albanian kidneys. Do you actually think rich muslims, Hindus, or Chinese don't want to live long, healthy lives?
IF this story is true, then it means modern Albania is a disgusting place. If you're Albanian and it bothers you, then do something about it. But don't start by blaming other cultures for your country's shortcomings.

What is my opinion? I think Carla del Ponte was high when she first stated this "issue". And so are her supporters.
What does it mean for the "civilized" West World? Nothing, because none of this is true. Ok, the KLA did violate some laws of war (still nothing compared to the Yugoslav Army), such as prisoners of war (most of them undercover agents working for serbia) that were killed. But this whole "human organs trafficking" thing is absolutely ridiculous.
"""I know very well what kind of people Albanians are. I assure you they are very capable of doing something like that!"""
Well then, do you know what your people are capable of?

Does that guy look like war criminal Radovan Karadzic? Yes it does.
The pictures were taken right after the massacre of Srebrenica, where 8000 Muslims Slav civilians were slaughtered. Apparently, there are people who admit it...

What is your opinion about this? What does this mean for a civilized country and member of the EU?
Source(s): It's not just about 100 volunteers. It's about YOUR WHOLE COUNTRY (well, almost everyone) SUPPORTING guys like Milosevic, Karadzic, Seselj and their crazy politics. Don't deny it, you know it's true. The Albanian government was never involved before, during, or after the war. Only serbia is to be blamed for provoking the conflict. How else do you explain Bosnia and Croatia? Was that our fault too? Milosevic revoked Kosovo's autonomy in 1989 for no reason. One year later, he shut down all the Albanian-language media. Later on, intellectuals, such as Ukshin Hoti, were arrested and killed. What else were we supposed to do? The problem with Serbia's political class of the '90s is that they wanted to turn Yugoslavia into a Serboslavia. And now that the country is much smaller and economically weaker than it used to be, the simplest thing to do is fingerpointing. Unfortunately, that won't get you far. 7 out of 10 crimes committed by Albanians? Stop pulling statistics out of your a$$. Most Albanians in greece work in jobs that only first generation immigrants would accept. As for the few that committed or are committing crimes, you can do whatever you want to them. I hate them as much as you do, if not more. I'm not worried about the Hague. This issue will be closed in less than two years and no one will be sentenced because, as I said before, none of it is true. To end the discussion, Serbia should stop playing this "victim game" and move on. And this goes for all Balkan countries. Enough with all these "velika hrvatska", "velika srbija", "megali idea", "greater Albania", "greater bulgaria", bla bla bla bla. At this rate, by 2040 we'll be 200 years behind Belgium. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- well, let me first respond to this moron below by officially stating that hes got dissociative identity disorder and must seek help immediately. But maybe it's a lost cause... Nobody is saying they should be college professors. I'd say 90% of the Albanian immigrants in greece do not hold a college degree. They come from the poorest regions of the country. But I'm also saying that 90% of them work on sh..ty jobs because they have to in order to live, and they don't steal or kill anybody. If it is true that you're having troubles with ex-cons from Albania, then it's an issue that both governments should solve together; more patroling on both sides of the border, more documentations for newly arrived immigrants etc. But you know this is a long-term issue. Too much chaos and idiots in the Albanian government. And I'm sure Greek politicans are far from being perfect. What? A fact? How many names are out in public? How many people have been arrested? Trials? Sentences? So far it sounds like a good story for Halloween. Come on man. The Albanian government involved in trafficking organs? Are you serious? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? The Albanian government can barely organize a meeting. This whole issue sounds a lot like the Limaj case. Serb newspapers said it was going to be "the trial of the century", and that "a former KLA will get what he deserves". Final verdict? Fatmir Limaj was declared not guilty and released of all charges. And you know what? The same will happen in this case. PS: It's wrong to categorize a nation as "enemy". Try to differentiate the crazy nationalists from common people who work everyday and make sacrifices for their families. If you ever plan to go to Albania, Serbia, or Croatia, you will note how similar they are to your Greek compatriots. Same activities (school, clubs, sports, dancing) and same problems (relationships, bills, division of property etc). I don't know where you reside, but I guess far from the US. You'll be surprised to know how well Greeks and Albanians get along here. - How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.
