What is the definition of the Political Class?

I can't find it through Google.

Here it is in context:

Update:

I'm serious. What is it and how is it determined?

Update 2:

Brown 9500v- I thought the same thing. But there are other references to it on Google, just not a definition.

You know how there are social classes, like the rich and the poor? It is kind of the same thing. Basically, they are saying government officials, Congress, etc.

I'm trying to find the answer to the exact same question actually. I *think* "political class" refers to people who consider themselves Democrats or Republicans rather than being more independent-minded. I could be wrong though, but that's about the closest I've been able to come to a definition.

I know, I know. What are the political elite?

Ask Rasmussen. They seem to be making it up as they go.
