If you are denied health care?

should you also demand payment when you see someone in a burning building or witness a bad car wreck before doing anything? Pay up or suffer..is there any real difference?

Update:

Sorry, you don't have insurance for me to call 911..I guess you get to die this time around. Tough break, huh?

Theres such thing as the good samaritan law. To your own choice, you have the right to help someone in a life threatening situation within your scope of knowledge and practice, without being held accountable if the person passes away. To demand payment to potentially save someones life is the most selfish thing Ive ever heard of! I cant even tell you what that person deserves. You cannot be denied emergency care by any hospital, but as far as a citizen, its their own stupid choice to try and make money off of someones elses misery. Those types of people should never be allowed out of their homes. Someone thats a genuinely good person would gladly risk their life or do as much within their power to help save someones life. Pay up or suffer is probably one of the saddest and worst concepts I have ever heard of. Think of it in their shoes, would you want someone to demand money to help save your life if all you needed was a quick 911 call made? or would you like to lay there and suffer and possibly die until someone with half a brain comes to your rescue?
