Christians? How do you actually know? How do you?

I was a skeptic..can't say atheist, always believed in a God, or agnostic, was sure there was some Supreme Being...but not sure what kind...Then, in 1974, I roomed with the Campus Crusade for Christ President at Boston U--and I had been Hillel Council president as a freshman...A Jew and a Christian and we did not mix as I had hoped we would...But, it gave me a chance to read some books of prophecy for the oncoming 25 years...and more and more the prophecies came true...Still not ready to believe...

A few things convinced me A GOD existed--The odds of evolution working as stated was too great. There had to be something that would put the amoeba here, and put the things that collided on the path where they existed in the first place...

But, the more I read, the more I realized I wa sin the best place in history--if these prophecies were to come true, they would be coming true within the next 25 years...and they started coming true, more and more of them...The more I examined the stories behind them, the more I saw things that were prophecied.

The more I read in the Bible about the prophecy of Jesus, the more I realize, these people should not have wanted this man to be pierced, crucified, on Passover of all days. They had a chance to do something about it, and they decided otherwise...God was winning this one.

The more I research what both books of the Bible say about the end times, the more prophecy is coming true and unprecedented, at one time unimaginable things are happening. The odds of these things happening at the time they were supposed to without Divine Intervention, whatever happened before in history, I would think is incalculable...I mean why did we not have a one world currency 400 years ago, or first start talking about it 500 years from now..

Seem even when I look at things from a purely objective perspective, the events that are happening are in the book of prophecy...and even moreso, I am changing as I accept things I did not use to... I am accepting that I am changing in many ways the more I am accepting the Messiah, but I am not changing in all ways as I stay a Jew.

That is why...the more faith I have in what is happening, the more faith I have in the prophets and the Creator...I have spent 35 years of looking at it--longer than many of those on YA have been alive...and the more I realize things, the more I see my development, the world's development, the prophecies, etc. the more I recognize how faith and sometimes faith alone will move the needed mountains.

I started as a Jew, to become a Believer in Jesus was a leap of faith. I went through my times of meditation, and belief in other things, in superstitious things, in questioning Bahai and such. I examined other things as a kid of the 60's---but they always left something lacking...

For me, this doesn't leave anything lacking...I am developing, I am changing, not only the world...and not out of fear or such...That is why I look at both books, I see what has been written, not just what I have been told, I am willing to stand up and say READ THE BOOK, USE SCRIPTURES OR SOME OTHER SOURCE NOT JUST YOUR OPINION.

For me, the evidence was seen in nearly 40 years of news stories and my own life...so yes, I have seen proof for me that things are true, and not just myth---too many details about a Messiah and they all came true when it regards His First Coming...and the details about the second coming are coming true, too...So, no, for me, it is not a Myth...I know people said the world would end years ago, I was alive fo rmost of the Cold War, the nuclear arms wars---but things that needed to be in place were not yet in place--A Cold War mitigated against a one world economy, one world government...but I said the UN is there, it is just dormant...Not anymore...The odds are just too astronomical for it all to be happening at once, at the time it was predicted to happen...

Well, that is a well query. Of direction with some thing that a man or woman is born into, I'm certain that now not they all comply with it. Some of them will have a elementary moal basis from which they reside that's headquartered on their Christian upbringing, however many mainly do not truthfully comply with what it quite method to be a real Christian. Christians, nonetheless aren't required to reside excellent lives, considering there's room for forgiveness in their misdeeds, despite the fact that preferably they must try to comply with the principles, and in the event that they make a mistake it is adequate. I'm a Deist, so I could care less about your opinion, or any other opinion from anybody else. Why do you ask these stupid questions just to argue with christians? I think I'd rather have a conversation with a christian than I would a atheist. Why? Because atheists are stupid, in a sense, because they reject everything that doesn't fit into their little theory.

It is not what I know but what I believe to be true.... there is a difference. God prepared my heart to accept Jesus long before I did whether I chose to or not was up to me..... I have faith that Yahweh is real and that what I believe is ultimately real as well.

as for someone claiming to be the son of god that depends on how they meant it .... we are all sons and daughters of god. If they mean that they are the Messiah then they are either crazy or the Anti-Christ........

God of Abraham is the only God who is loving enough to care for His beautiful creation as to send down His only Begotten Son to preach the message of peace, live the life of obedience and poverty, and then die on the cross for our sins.

If a person told me he was the Son of God, I wouldn't believe Him, but there is a reason why people believed Christ, its because he was who he said he was. Do not think that people were much dumber back then then they are now, I have to say that its the other way around these days. There were people who rejected Christ and called him a fake, and there were those who believed, and chose to die for their faith in this one man. The reasons why Christianity is the dominating religion in the world is because of the faith of these men, the message that Christ taught, the hope that he brought into the world, and that He is trully the Son of God.

You see,your ways of thinking are much of that like a child, using arguments such as the easter bunny, santa clause (which by the way is Saint Nicholas) and comparing Christianity to mythology. I was once like you, a childish annoying excuse for a human being who expressed his distress to the world for not finding God, or for Him not finding me through jokes, pompousity, and ignorance. All you have to do is ask though.

I know the true God through accepting the atonement and receiving the Holy Spirit which leads me in spiritual truth greater than flesh and blood.

He can not be Allah or Zeus or any other god because I know him.

They don't know. They just think they do. They just get confused between what is fact and what is opinion and don't realise fact is independant of opinion. This is in large part because of their inability to use reason in thought processes
