Which romance/comedy manga or anime would you recommend?
Alright, so I want to recommend some more manga and anime for my friend. She really loves comedy as well as romance stuff!
I've already bought her Girl Got Game and Love Attack by Shizuru Seino , she loves those! Also she enjoyed Imadoki. Those are some of the manga that she enjoys.
So based on that, or just on what you like, can you recommend some romance and comedy stuff for me?

Okay, here goes.
They're all romance/comedy anime (most of them have manga versions too); some with magical girl and other genres.
I've mentioned the very obvious extra genres, as well as my own feedback. =] I didn't include genres like "school life", because almost all the anime are about that anyway.
Toradora!
>> A pretty nice anime. It gets a bit dramatic at one point, but it's all good. =]
Special A
>> The first few eps, I found boring. But the further you watch, the funnier it gets! =D
Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge / The Wallflower (or just "Wallflower") / Perfect Girl Evolution
>> The drawings aren't the best, but it's still a nice anime. =]
Lovely Complex
>> A tall girl and a short boy... in love? O.o It's quite nice. =]
Itazura Na Kiss
>> A typical "dumb-girl + cool-guy" story; except here the girl has no good points at all! She's not even happy-go-lucky enough to cheer up the people around her. O.o It's quite nice. =]
Ouran High School Host Club
>> VERY nice and funny! A top fav. ^_^ Definite must-watch. =D
Skip Beat!
>> Acting: really, really interesting! And awesome romance! =D
Gakuen Alice
>> Magic: Not the dress-up kind, though. Dumb, happy-go-lucky girl meets cool, dark-background guy. The manga is very interesting and gets dark; the anime stopped too soon. =(
Shugo Chara!
>> Magical girl: The transform dress-up kind. Very nice love-triangle! 2nd season: Shugo Chara! Doki! is ongoing. =D
Kamichama Karin
>> Magical girl: The transform dress-up kind. Fantasy: Gods & Goddesses. Quite dumb/happy girl meets quite cool guy. (Not that much of contrast; unlike in Gakuen Alice.) Sequel (manga): Kamichama Karin Chu. It gets more interesting and darker as the story progresses...
Kamisama Kazoku
>> Fantasy: Gods, goddesses, angels, devils, etc. Drawings aren't the best, but still manageable. A pretty nice anime. =]
Fruits Basket
>> Fantasy: Zodiac. Very interesting. Nice love-triangle. =] The anime stops too soon, but the dark, interesting parts continue in the manga.
Aishiteruze Baby
>> A very cute, touching story; involving a little kindergarten girl, a teenage boy (main char) and a teenage girl (love interest). =]
DN Angel
>> Fantasy: Idk how to explain it, but it's a really nice anime; the romance part was just awesome. A tad of magical-ish action. =]
Akikan!
>> Magical girl: Dressed-up type, but no transforming. It was just 'okay' for me. Got a bit boring. =S
Myself;Yourself
>> It might be a little boring and "plain" at first, but it gets a lot more interesting and definitely darker later on... trust me. =]
Ginban Kaleidoscope
>> Ice-skating. And romance... =]

Forgive me for being a Sci-fi anime fan but that's basically all I'm qualified to answer :P. However, I tend to count action and adventure under this category. I also unsuprisingly enjoyed Chobits. Legend of Galactic Heroes is my favorite anime by far. It has never officially been released in the US but if you take a look around the internet you will be able to find it. No dubbing available. Legend of Galactic Heroes basically is a story about 2 giant space empires at war and obviously the "heroes" involved in that war. This is one of the few Space anime WITHOUT mecha. The amount of characters this anime explores and the depths it goes into each character as they are fighting the war is amazing. You might only see a character for one episode and quickly develop a connection, or a character introduced 20 episodes ago might suddenly return and become the focus of the anime for several episodes. Be sure to retain the identities of people as you go otherwise you might be confused who this new guy who didn't get a proper introduction and that everyone else seems to know very well. Also, without going into spoilers this anime is not afraid to kill off major characters and it does it a lot, so be prepared for some shockers.

i recommend (this are the mangas that i've read and enjoyed):
High School Debut/ KouKou Debut - Haruna Nagashima gave her all to softball in middle school, and now that she's made her high school debut she's decided to give her all for a new goal. Getting a boyfriend and falling in love! However, she has one small problem. Since she never paid any attention to fashion or trend in middle school she has no idea how to go about attracting her yet-to-be-found love. But a chance encounter with with Yoh Komiyama provides her with the opportunity she needs. If he coaches her in how to become attractive, surely she can find herself a boyfriend!
Beaty is the Beast -When bubbly eleventh-grader Eimi Yamashita finds out that her parents are relocating for work, she decides to strike out on her own and move into a dormitory for girls. Little does Eimi suspect the exciting romantic adventures that await her there!
Eimi's fellow residents are a little bit crazy but a whole lot of fun. They've got a secret mission planned for Eimi's new resident initiation...and it has something to do with sneaking into the boys' dormitory across the street and returning with a special keepsake! Can Eimi pull it off without getting caught by one of the handsomest (and cruelest) boys in the dorm?
BEAST mASTER - Yuiko Kubozuka is a high school girl who loves animals. Unfortunately, animals hate her and flee from her whenever possible. So when a new classmate, Leo Aoi, turns out to be a scary guy who resembles a wild animal than anything human, she is intrigued. Not only because Leo has an affinity with animals which she envies, but also because he isn’t the wild animal that he seems to be. He seems to hide a very sweet disposition behind his scary features.
Or so she thought. The truth is revealed when they are attacked and Leo immediately behaves like a wild animal and gets violent like a blood-thirsty animal, just to save Yuiko.
Will Yuiko be able to tame this wildest of all animals or will he be just like the others and flee from her? Or the better question, will she flee from him?
You're My Girlfriend - From the author of Special A, a oneshot about a girl named Hatsune with a "bad mouth", for lack of a better description. She's kind-hearted and all, but her mouth spews the total opposite of what she means (which is probably due to the fact that she grew up with five brothers, a father, and no mom). And so she is seen as an arrogant, mean girl at her school, and that is why she hasn't had a boyfriend for the past fifteen years of her life. Well, that is, until she gets accepted at this Maidens' Club, where she meets a guy called Kirie with a somewhat unique habit (it happens when a girl comes within six inches of him). How will these two fare? Will Hatsune finally have a boyfriend at last? Will she be more than just a "girl" friend?
Beauty Pop - Although a truly gifted hairstylist, Kiri Koshiba has no interest in using her talent to pursue fame and fortune, unlike the three popular boys in the "Scissors Project" at school. They give showy makeovers to handpicked girls, determined to become the best makeover team in Japan. As much as Kiri tries to shy away from the Scissors Project spotlight, she finds herself responding to beauty's call.
1/2 prince - it is on going but its very very funny and there is slight romance in it but im sure ur friend will love this.. It is the year 2100A.D., humans have developed a virtual reality game. Feng lan, due to a bet with her brother, vows to beat the game without using her "female benefits". Due to this, she becomes the first transvestite of "Second Life".

Manga
Samurai Deeper Kyo - Comedy, Action, Some Romance
Inuyasha - Action, Romance, Fantasy, Comedy
Vampire Knight - Romance ( it doesn't have much comedy, it's kinda serious - really boring if you ask me.)
Anime
Inuyasha - (a lot like its manga)
Samurai Deeper Kyo - (the anime is not that good, manga's better)

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya <hilarious! If you watching it, try to watch it in the broad cast order – much more dramatic that way wiki has it listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Melanchol...
Perfect Girl Evolution/Wallflower <Another hilarious one! Both to read and watch – though it may take two episode to get into it, it is well worth it!!!!!!>
Ouran High School Host Club <Reverse harem comedy – poor girl in the richest school around, with a bit of oh, cross dressing, forbidden love, sweets, general craziness... a must see!>
Fruits Basket <not as obvious with the humour as the three above, but FABULOUS all the same! Also a poor girl with a kind of reverse harem situation, only there is also animal transformations due to a curse...>
Skip Beat! <if you want a bit of revenge in with your comedy and romance then this is the one for you! Follows the life of a girl trying to break into the entertainment industry>
Special A <follows an “ordinary” (not rich) girl on her quest to beat a rich boy... at anything! Of course there are romantic links and exotic situations (the school they go to as the “special A” class which does not attend regular classes and use a green house as their ‘homeroom’ for lack of a better word)>
Kokou Debut (high school debut) <high school girl who is determined to get a boyfriend, only she needs some help so she gets herself a “coach”>
Beast Master <the taming of the beast – with the beast being a scary looking guy in school.. that is just not as bad as he seems>
DN Angel <Another one with transformations, only this time the one transforming is a guy, into, well, a trained thief... you need to watch/read it to really get it>
Karin <An un-vampire who falls for a human, and has a crazily funny family. she is very dense about romance! but then the lead guy is no far behind her in density :) >
Fairy Tale <definitely full of comedy, but not so much romance in this series. Follows a girl who wants to join a guild for mages, and her adventures with her new friends.>
Not so much comedy in these... but should be watchd anyways:)
Angelic Layer <Country girl moves to big city, and discovers a fighting game called angelic layer through which she makes friends and falls in love and finds herself. I love this series – such a “you can do it!” feel good one>
Cardcaptor Sakura <love this series. It follows younger set, but is still fab. The lead girl accidently releases magical cards and has to collect them all again... friends, love and dressing up in great costumes. If you want to watch it I recommend watching the original Japanese with English subtitles – much better, the dub drops stuff... sigh!>
Tokyo Mew Mew <magical transformations and sweet cakes abound. A cute series>
Pre-tear < magical girl transformations... probably not as much humour in this series, but it is still a nice one>

Special A is a nice light one. Also Ouran High School was hilarious with romantic comedy.

Tokyo Mew Mew (7 books) and the sequel Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode. I just finished reading them. They're translated from Japeneese and it makes every other manga look bad.
