.44 Magnum suggestions?

I like my medium frame Taurus Tracker .357 Magnum and want to move up. Give me your thoughts on any .44 Magnum that's accurate, reliable and easy to use for my small hand size.

I'm not a hunter nor marksman - just want to be able to comfortably handle a variety of weapons.

It really depends on what you want to shoot. Single action wise, the Ruger Super Blackhawks are pretty much the gold standard. In double action you have a lot more options, but I would recommend either a Ruger Redhawk or a S&W 29/629. Best bet, find a local range that rents revolvers and shoot as many as you can.

Also, if you shoot factory ammo or factory equivalent, just go with the one that feels better. If you want to hot rod the .44, you should probably go with a Redhawk. For me, a 250 gr Keith at 1400 FPS is plenty, so I chose the Smith.

Ruger Redhawk, super strong so you can fire hot ammo and accurate to 200 meters.

If you want the ultimate .44 mag then go for a Freedom Arms. They are expensive, extremely accurate, and built like a tank but worth every penny.

SW model 29. with custom grips ...you will not find a better more accurate weapon on the planet. I shot with 25 guys from Nellis AFB and beat their rifle scores with my Dirty Harry Model 29.

I love my brothers Taurus Tracker .44mag Ultra lite. Ha, why don't you get the same thing in the "next caliber"?

Rugers work best for shooters with small hands.*
