is it hard to be a lesbian ..?

I've never known anything else, so no! It would be wonderful if my wife could legally be recognized as my wife. She was, briefly last year - before Prop 8 passed. We've been together six years now.

Edit: Oh, wait... The men who think they're God's gift to women are pretty irritating. "Once you have me, you'll change your tune! You haven't met the right man." Hahaha! *eye roll* Um...sorry, no.

I enjoy being one actually.

The difficulties?

A) Some people zero in on my sexuality as the culprit

of my successes and failures

B) Insecure males who attack me just because I

get to hang around with more women than they could

ever get. Some kind of pen*s rivalry with one who has none.

Being recognised as a lesbian. As i am not the "stereotype" many people don't believe me.

Males hitting on me. Im polite about it, but its not favourable obviously.

Acceptance like any other LGBT group.

Finding a lover, like anyone. Having to go to gay bars over straight ones, as im a femme lesbian and again, not the stereotype.

I think it would be harder because it's not like you can look at any women and know if they also are a lesbian or not. I don't know any lesbian women at all. I have to think it would be really hard to get a date.

Really just acceptance.
