How can I stop the welcome center from popping up every time I start up my laptop?

If it helps any, I am using an Acer Aspire 4330 with Windows Vista on it.

The Welcome Center popping up slows the start up time of my computer, and it's very annoying.

There should be a check box in the lower left hand corner that says "Launch the Welcome Center on Startup" just unclick that, it won't come up again.

Open up the command prompt and type msconfig. Click on the startup tab and you can deselect the programs you want from there.

There is a little check box that you can deselect so It does open when your computer starts up.
