Independents: Who is the last Republican you voted for in a presidential election?

I've never voted for a Democrat, i always vote Republican. But in 2012 I may vote for Obama.. I voted for McCain. i was unemployed for 8+ months with no prospects. but now, thanks to President Obama and his stimulus package, I got a project manager job for a new company that produces solar panels.. We will be building up the green industry and I'm happy to be part of it.. I'm a proud republican but President Obama is doing a good job.. I'm calling a spade a spade.. I will most likely vote for him in 2012.. Thanks to him, I can support my family and stay in my home.

I am an avid Democrat but i voted for Bush Sr.

I was a volunteer for John Lindsay's mayoral campaign when he was still a Republican. And he later ran for president (as a Democrat). Does that count for something?

Also, I'd have seriously considered voting for Jacob Javits, if he'd ever run for Pres.

ok, so i don't follow the rules. i have not voted for a major party candidate for president since Robert Kennedy. i have not voted for or liked a sitting president since JFK

Dubya. I felt he was the better person for the presidency than Al Gore. Gore was Vice-President for eight years and didn't do anything of note. He just couldn't convince me that he was gonna be any different as President.

McCain -- I voted AGAINST Barry! I also voted AGAINST Gore and Kerry.

The last candidate I voted for was Reagan.

Reagan term #2. Since then it has been all third parties or democrats.
