Tough question about hitting a batter. Yes or no?

There is no intentional beaning in baseball. There is plunking the batter anywhere on the body, not the head..of course on a very rare occasion it does happen..99.9% unintentional.

You brush him back with a high tight fastball. It's part of the game, but the situation would never arise. Manager wouldn't request that.

Good question, but I didn't really have to think about it. Of course I wouldn't drill my own brother. If the manager told me to hit a member of my own family I'd say screw you. I'd have to protect my teammates, though, so I'd bean the next batter.

Depends on if my brother is a jerk or not. It would also depend on where the opposing pitcher hit my teammates. You have to protect your teammates and stand up for them. If the pitches weren't fastballs or were not in some bad places I wouldn't do it.

I don't believe in hitting a guy on purpose, not the person I am, but good question.

Brush him inside a bit with some fastballs, but don't bean. I don't believe beaning people on purpose is the right thing to do, unless the brother is a big, hated jerk.

I wouldnt even think twice. If my manager told me to bean him I would, I just wouldn't aim for his head. I doubt he would ever charge the mound because he knows he couldn't take me down.

Of course you do. That's how the game is played. Plus he's your brother, so you can buy him a drink and a hooker afterwords to make it all better.

Of course, I think players would prefer that. I mean sure he'll be pissed, but if you explain your case I doubt he will stop loving you.
