girls: without being pregnant, what is the longest time your period has been delayed?

I took a pregnancy test and it said negative and then i messed up again and i took plan b but i still haven't gotten my period for two weeks. What are my chances of being pregnant? Is it just plan b that's delaying my period? How long after my first test should i wait to take another one? and finally what is the longest time your period has been delayed. because i am freaking out.

1] Take a pregnancy test again because your chances are high.

2] Plan B will not delay your period. If anything, it will start it.

3] Since your last pregnancy test was at least 2 weeks ago, you are due for another.

4] The longest time my period was delayed was about 50 days.

I don't think you are pregnant, but I'm not a doctor so I wouldn't know for sure. You should probably wait about a week before taking the next test just to give a little time in between. The longest I have gone without a period is almost 2 months. That has happened twice, once when I was really sick and again last year. I had taken a home pregnancy test because I thought I was pregnant but it turned out negative and about a month later I got my period again.

Well, mine has been 3 weeks late before... and I was not pregnant. Sure did think I was though! Lol. I wasn't even stressed out... it was just random. I have never taken the plan B, but my best friend has, and she completely skipped a period after taking it. She was a little worried cuz the Dr said if she didn't get her period after a couple weeks to a take a test, but she took several and they were all negative. By the time her NEXT period was due, it showed up about a week after it should have. Lol. So, I would take a test again in a few days... maybe like, 4 days if you haven't started yet? But try not to stress, cuz remember it can throw you off even worse.

Good luck! I hope everything works out for you hun.

My longest cycle ever was 47 days. many things can cause your cycle to be delayed. When I was younger, my cycles were longer due to stress and worrying about being pregnant. Once I would take a test and it would come up negative I would feel relieved and then start my cycle within the next couple of days. Also, there are many other things to cause a delay such as low iron or even a thyroid condition which are just among the few. Good luck, I hope you start soon.

I think maybe you should stop making the same mistake over and over again...

I went for almost 2 months without a period, and wasn't pregnant. Plan B is just a really really high dose of birth control that will can cause termination of the pregnancy if taken in time, because it won't allow the egg to implant. So I would say you probably just threw your hormones out of whack and that your just going to be late this month. I would seriously recommend getting a regular dose of birth control pills to take everyday since you find yourself "messing up" quite a bit. If you don't get a period within another week or so, take another test, or go to the doc.

I've gone about 2 1/2 months without a period just because i was extremely active with sports practices and games.

Thing is, my period decided to show up the day before championships....I felt like i was running with a diaper on.

I have PCOS.. my periods are very irregular, normally 3-4 months apart, BUT once it was delayed for 10 months and no pregnancy so it can happen, dont stress, its probably just a delay but do another pregnancy test anyway to make sure, in about a month.

First get yourself a pregnancy test kit available at any pharmacy. Then you will be sure. Sometimes there are other reasons for a person to have there menstruation delayed, very athletic active persons, or a person who suffers from anorexia. One week is really not that big of a deal, but check it out, just to be safe.

    I skipped one entire cycle.

With that said, yes plan B can do that but so many other things can make your periods crazy. If you still think your possibly pregnant, consider going to the dr for a blood test but after two weeks and still negative, I am sure your in the clear in that department.
