Outlets selling DSLR in duty free shops in Bangkok International Airport?

Hi are there any outlets in the Suvarnabhami International Airport in Bangkok that sell DSLRs? If yes then what all brands are available and indicative price if anyone knows?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Any price advantage you get depends on what country you are from. If you are from Canada or the US the cameras in Thailand will be more expensive unless you luck onto a very special sale.

Some big chain stores in Thailand such as Lotus Tesco, Carrefour and Big C also sell cameras, sometimes they have sales.

Know the prices you would have to pay back home and see if you are getting a good price in Thailand. Then you have to consider if the warranty will be any good in a second country.

I have noticed cameras for sale walking through the airport but I can't tell you if they are a good deal or not. I think there will probably be more "point and shoot cameras" for sale to take advantage of tourist arrivals.

    Happy shooting.

Things in the Duty Free shops are not cheaper than outside. And electronics are usually more expensive in Bangkok than say in Hong Kong or the US.

My suggestion if you want to buy in Bangkok is to go to Fortune Mall or Pantip Plaza ask them to fill out a PP10 VAT refund form and you'll get the VAT back when you leave the country, its the same as duty free.

If you still feel that duty free is the way to go then King Power Duty Free in Suvarnabhami and also a location near the Victory Monument on Rang Nam Rd.
