Has anyone had a really bad neighbor at a time when you couldn't afford to leave?

Most definitely!! Our landlord! When we moved into our house 30 years ago, he lived in the house next door and was unbelievable!! I think he had OCD. There was a tree between our houses and he would rake the leaves to the EXACT middle of the tree. He used to wax his lawn mower every time he used it. He hated black people and one of my very best friends was black and was here every day when we were moving in, helping us paint and move everything in. He had the nerve to tell us he thought if the other neighbors saw her, they would think black people were moving into the neighborhood!! Thank God they sold their house and moved. We eventually bought the house and are still here. Sure glad that he's not!!

I am now experiencing that problem now.

This neighbor next to my wall, plays his concert organ' loud from 12 am every night, [he goes to bed at 4am]

waste of time talking to him, he will not have curtains up to his windows in case myself or authority's go to his door, then seeing us, he turns it down, until we have gone, then ....bump bump bump back to his bass music.

Yes I did, my apt. had very thin walls and they used to play blaring music at all times of the night and day, it was driving me crazy, we went to the door to ask them to turn it down and they wouldn't answer the door. I went to the rental office and explained my situation and can you believe they told me there was nothing they could do about it?

I was sooooo glad to get our of there.
