A question for those who are christian, and have a fairly strong background in science.?
I'm 25 years old, and I'm feeling really bad because I can't really remember the years before 25. I lost memory somewhere between the age of 23 and 24. I can remember that before being 25, I was a happy person.
I'm afraid of going to heaven, because I fear that I'm going to have a mature body, which will not feel the same as a body, which is younger than 30. Christians believe we'll have a fully mature body, but I desire to feel young and youthful in heaven, to have soft skin, and have those childlike feelings that people younger than 25 have. All though no one can know what it is like to have a glorified body, maybe a christian with a scientific background could answer these three questions:
If a male between the ages of 30 and 33 ( calculated age people are in heaven), have perfect bodies, wont their bodies feel the same as someone younger than 25? Does age determine how one feels inside?
Can a child whose really mature, be considered an adult?

What do any of those questions have to do with science?
Of course a 33 year old can feel the same as someone younger than 25. That's not science.

Anyone who goes to heaven will be transformed into a spirit person.
All scriptures that refer to physical healing of the body are referring to people who will inherit everlasting life on the earth: "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it." Ps 37:29. (Read all of the 37th Psalm)
Why are the churches not teaching the Bible?????? "Get out of her my people!" All of these so-called Christian churches which are more interested in "tickling your ears", taking your money, and prostituting themselves with the kings of the world, than in teaching the truth about God's Kingdom. God will soon let it be known that he never approved of them. He will completely wipe them out of existence.
Sorry, I'm feeling a little extra apocalyptic today, what with the swine flu and all (the current 'pestilence')

In Heaven we will have a Heavenly glorified Body that will resemble feeling like we are 8 years old and yet full of wisdom as if we are 99 years old -- Be Blessed !!

So basically because, maybe, one Christian thought that or a couple, that means that we ALL think that? Dude, what are we, five? And as a side bar, the science is on our side because we actually know what we're talking about

I'd be very happy with a glorified body that is not restricted by time, does not hurt or get hurt. I'm no scientist, but I know that we will feel young again!

I think we will be like children, innocent and pure before God and filled with wonder. We won't have bodies of flesh, but will be spirit in a glorified body as you've said.

no dude, u'll be happy as a clown. these arent physical bodies really. the physics of the next life will be totally different. remember it says there will be no sorrow in heaven. how can you be 35 forever and have no sorrow? it'll be a blast.

In heaven there will no longer be any death or mourning or crying or pain or disease of any type.
There will be no more aches. The crippled in this life will dance for joy before the throne of God, the blind will see him in all his glory, the old will never again feel back pain, and never again will they lack an apetite or the energy to enjoy God's creations.
The old way of being will pass away - the pains we experience in this life will not be worthy to be compared to the unsurpassed joy of being with God in heaven.
