Who is John McArthur?

This is for those who you who claim to have a close personal relationship with him.

What makes him cry?

What makes him laugh?

What is his favorite song?

What is his favorite color?

You see I have a close personal relationship with my wife. I know what makes her cry. I know what makes her claugh. I know her favorite movie, her favorite book, and her favorite song. I know that her favorite color is purple.

So tell me, how well do you know this Jesus? Is it the height of arrogance to say that you have a close personal relationship with Jesus, when 2 billion people claim the same thing?

I see a lot of Christians mock the beliefs of Mormons and JWs, claiming they are cults, even though main stream Christianity meets the very definition of a 'cult'.

You all claim to follow the Word of God, yet have beliefs that contradict the very word. Do tell. What makes your beliefs and claims any less outrageous (to an outsider) than theirs?

The original word was" arsenokoitai," and Greek scholars will admit that they have no idea what that word meant.

...without scientific errors or contradictions? Perhaps he can correct his math and define (PI) the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter as 3.14159265359, instead of simply 3 (I Kings 7:23-26). Perhaps he can see to it to reclassify a bat as a mammal and not a bird. Maybe he will admit that insects have more than four legs and that rabbits do not chew their cud.

Maybe he can solve the contradiction on how unbelievers should be treated:

1. Kill them

If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you ... Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die. -- Deuteronomy 13:6-10

2. Shun them

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? ... Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord. -- 2 Corinthians 6:14-17

3. or Love them

Love thy neighbor as thyself. -- Leviticus 19:18, Matthew 22:39, Mark 12:31, Luke 10:27, Romans 13:9-10, Galatians 5:14, James 2:8

Love your enemies. -- Matthew 5:44, Luke 6:27

Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them. -- Matthew 7:12, Luke 6:31

Maybe this time he can add things like upper case/lower case, words like a, and, am, and the. Let's not forget punctuation because we know how easily the sentence, "This is my son Steve" can become This is my son, Steve".

Don't you think this would clear up some of our "atheist misunderstandings?

In light of how many Christians have said this, would you please join me in answering insulting Christian questions with "No real Christian would say this"?

It's sounds like that without the Bible, you would all be just a bunch of murderous raping marauders.

Bonus question #1: Do any of you find it disgusting and repulsive?

Bonus question #2: Can you understand why others see this as immoral and superstitious?

Bonus question #3: Do you feel that it satisfied the blood thirst of the Old Testament God once and for all?
