Christians, why are you content to rely on a vicarious blood sacrifice for your redemption?

Bonus question #1: Do any of you find it disgusting and repulsive?

Bonus question #2: Can you understand why others see this as immoral and superstitious?

Bonus question #3: Do you feel that it satisfied the blood thirst of the Old Testament God once and for all?

Wow, it's a quiet day around here. I'm atheist, but I find your question interesting. I don't think any Christians really see it that way and even if they do, admitting it might be difficult for them. And on the BQs, same thing. Especially with the wording that you used. I'm not necessarily saying that Christians are too stupid to see it that way (shhh!), but you just won't get them to go along with any of these questions in the way in which you might hope.

Some of my contacts here at Y!A are leaving the site because they don't like the Purple menace (the new format). I'm staying and it looks like you're staying too. Some of us have started a new forum based website (nahoo) that we use as a refuge from the craziness here at Y!A R&S and the Purple. It's a place to hang out, talk with like minded individuals, lick our wounds and have a little fun. http://nahooyanswers.freeforums.org/index.php Check it out, there is no obligation.

I do not own the site, there are no ads, there is no charge to join or to be a member. You have been a contact of mine for a long time. I wouldn't steer you wrong.
