Is anybody else tired of the "No Real Christian" fallacy?

"Yes, it's true -- no real Christian would condescend to insult you. That is not loving our enemies, as Christ instructed us to do (Luke 6:27 -- not saying that you are an enemy, just that the person who said that to you viewed you as one). There are many would-be Christians who are simply what I call zealots -- they lack the real fruit of the Spirit (which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance -- Galatians 5:22, 23).

In light of how many Christians have said this, would you please join me in answering insulting Christian questions with "No real Christian would say this"?
Brother Tucker, so true Christians are insulting. Thanks for your fine example. You're obviously unfamiliar with the No True Scotsman fallacy. Get educated yourself hypocrite.

But I agree with the "no true Christian" arguments, most of the time.
I doubt I have ever met a true Christian.

Is someone telling you the truth about your illogical fallacies insulting to you? You must really be insulted whenever you open a book then aren't you? Guess Christians will have to stop answering confrontational questions then. Seriously??? Get educated.

There are many people who believe going to church and internalizing the political tendencies of their preacher is sufficient to be counted as "Christian." These tend to be the same sorts of people who believe that the Bible is the literal truth Word of God...except for the parts that obviously should be read differently.

If all the people who had ever been called "not real Christians" were kicked out of the religion, Christianity would be a tiny fringe cult with fewer than a dozen members.

It's funny. They say things like "Not perfect, just forgiven", but don't consider that this means they fvck up just as often as others.
