will a rifle stock fit a contender?
i am considering getting a contender in 30-30, and in a few other calibers. will a rifle stock fit it? i was wondering because some of the calibers seem a little much for a pistol.
im looking at a contender pistol in 30-30, but getting a 45-70 barrel for it.

The contender is made in both pistol and rifle variations. You can buy both pistol length (10" and 14") barrels, or a wide range of rifle barrels (16"+).
While it is possible for rifle parts and pistol parts to interchange, mounting a pistol barrel, or any barrel under 16" in length on a rifle frame would be illegal without proper registration and taxing as a short barreled rifle under the National Firearms Act of 1934. The registration will take several weeks, and will cost $200.
