LOL. Most of my contacts are atheists, for I can never seem to keep christian ones to stick around for long. I lose most of them because of my lack of belief in 'eternal torture'. It is scary the way some fundies almost 'worship' this place called Hell. They defend it's existance with a passion.
I can't seem to make friends with people who expect their fellowman to burn forever. Figures.

Nicer, more reasonable people seem to get along better in general . . . nicer, more reasonable atheists get along better with Christians than other atheists. Nicer more reasonable Muslims get along better with Hindus than other Muslims. It really doesn't matter the religion. It's a general thing. So yeah, I've noticed it in a lot more than Christians and Atheists. ^-^

The nicer more reasonable christian gets along with people better in general because they obey two of the Lords most important rules to live by.
1. Love everyone, even your enemy.
2. Judge not; lest you'll be judged.
Other christians that abuse those two rules have a tendency to repel most people except for other like minded christians.

I honestly disagree.
I'm a Christian, and I'm very close to my Atheist and Christian friends, but I seem to keep my Christian friends longer.
My explanation is that when you've built homes for people in need, worshiped, and still been able to just hang out together, you become closer. And somehow you manage to enjoy hard labor with them.
Do I hold this against any Atheist friends I have? Not a chance. I still have great times with them, but you just can't be as open when religion is more like "the r-word."

I fly under the radar around here, so I'm happy to say that I feel under-appreciated. I guess the economy has hit Yahoo points, too, huh?

Nicer, more reasonable people tend to get along with other people better. I think it is a person's character that defines them, not their religious beliefs.

They get along better with everyone on R & S. Mainly because they are sincere and confident in their own personal beliefs and therefore, have no axe to grind with anyone else.
I have several of them as my contacts...

Maybe you have more faith.
I find you all very attractive when I see displays of empathy & tolerance, what better witness could you be, to teach others the core of your beliefs.
Edit :- Well you know what I'm talking about then. lol
God bless their little souls.
