What would be a good design...?
To remember my brother? Since we lost him in 2003, I've been wanting to find a way to show that I remember him and know that were he still around, my life wouldn't be what it is today.
He was a big fan of Deadman Inc. (a wrestler?), he was in love with dragons and wizards, he liked the grim reaper, he loved video games and rock music, he was a good artist, and a HS grad planning on college in the fall. He also loved cars and the chrome that goes on trucks. He also enjoyed putting models together.
I was originally thinking the reaper with his name on the scythe, but I don't know. At one time I was toying with a dragon going up my spine and my brother's name incorporated somewhere. Preferably something that would look good done all in black. Maybe incorporate the song title Who'd You'd Be Today in it.
I'm thinking of placing it on my right shoulder blade, maybe my right bicep, depends on final design and size.
When I think of the grim reaper, I remember the night my step dad brought home the grim reaper on a harley davidson (not long after we lost him). He said James told him to get it. Every time we looked at it, we saw James, heard his laugh, remembered his plans, and while we mourned, we knew he was still with us. To me (and most of my family) the reaper means James, not death.

im sorry for your loss. i like the grim reaper idea, but thats hand in hand with death. will you look at it and remember him, or remember his death? if you remember him, then i think thats a good idea. i like the shoulder blade idea.
