What is the significance of windmills on graves?

I've noticed that a lot of graves in my local cemetery have windmills on them. Does anyone know if there is any superstition or significance to them or are they just there for decoration?

    It means people liked windmills.

    They're actually wind turbines - the church is planning to generate electricity and raise the dead from their graves in a similar manner to Dr. Frankenstein.

    They are just for decoration like a stuffed animal(you mean the little plastic ones? )
