The signifagance of the time 12:34!!!?

I am 22, 23 in june. my mother just told me that she has been plagued with the numbers 1234 since I was born. At first it was a comfort to her from my father(abusive) when she would see it on the clock!!!! Now, recently she tries to avoid this number but will see it twice a day. she can't get away from it. she is only 42. the only thing I can see it as is the date January 2nd, 2034. she wants to know why this number has haunted her for about 23 years? what cold be the meaning of 12:34? Is someone, or something trying to tell her something?

It is a fixation problem, not a mathematical one.

She should try to fix on another number (for example 11:11), or even one that occurs more often (1:11 which is contained in 11:11).

Or, you could get rid of digital clocks and watches in her house.

And start writing dates using an international standard, such as
2009.05.03 (for 2009 May 3).

The thing about these fixations (there are many people who have them) is that nobody else is trying to tell her anything.  Only SHE could be trying to tell herself something... and it may have nothing to do with the number.

I'm sorry to hear about having an abusive father/husband.  That shouldn't happen to anyone.

But no, there's no particular significance to 12:34 in her life.  It's basically coincidence and chance, reinforced by our species' habit of looking for and finding patterns in nature.
