is it ok to use soft margarine after it melted then hardened?

Update:

Thanks for the answers. Guess I'll use some and see how it tastes. My husband left a big tub of ICBINB in the car....sigh...

Tio Paco, thanks. I'll check for the water. Should I let it soften again and mix it in or just pour it off?

You won't be able to see, but it may have begun to separate into oil and water with the water going to the bottom of the tub. This will throw the flavor off a little, but it should still be OK to eat.

Any hydrogenated fat is bad for the arteries. Butter is better for you than

a hydrogenated fat but Olive Oil is even better.
