What are getting your mom for mothers day/ Moms, what do you want for mothers day?
I have no idea what to get my mom or mother in law. I don't have much money : (
I would have loved to get them a spa package. I am thinking about taking them out to eat but that's not that personal. They both don't like flowers. And they both have plenty of pictures of us so they don't need any more.
What do you want for mothers day? Please help me!!! I am clueless! Thanks for all answers.

I think she would enjoy some service. Washing and vacuuming her car, planting some flowers out in the front yard, making her dinner. Things like that. I don't know what to get either though.

I find myself in the same position like every year saying to myself “oh ----” its gonna be mothers day.
Anyway, I just found a site that saved my life, and is fairly economical – won't break the bank!
The best thing they have, which they rate #1 are the gift baskets. So much better than generic flowers.
They have the Top Mother's Day Gifts for 2009. I bought all of them, as I thought it was more than an easy way out, and they all worked together as a big package – all stuff my mom would appreciate.
If you're still stuck, you should check them out

Hand Made Cards are always a delight because they are highly personal. The decoration and the writing on the cards are solely done by you! They are a brilliant low cost option and also carry the intended message which your heart wants to express.

Since I never have money, ever, and my mom is always trying to find ways to save money so I made her a cookbook with recipes I found off the internet (www.allrecipes.com), printed her a card off the internet, and I printed a whole lot of coupons and put them in a prettyful envelope. She was very grateful for the coupons when we went to the store! www.coolsavings.com and www.coupons.com is what I used. Good luck!

Being a mother myself I can tell you, it does not take money to make a mother happy. It takes heart and thought. The thing I cherished the most from my son was a hand written card from him sharing his thoughts and what I had done for him and how he appreciated it. He did a nice task for me around the house that took his time. Time is one thing that you can never take back. Share that with mom. Good luck.

A charm bracelet is always good,so you can add charms for different occasions.Cheaper, make a "I will do" coupon book.Put in it things that she can never find the time to do herself. If you are a guy, something like take your car for an oil change, throw old stuff out of the garage,or wash your car.Use your imagination it will be so good for her.it will be from your heart.

My Mom lives out of state so I will send a card and call her. For my wife I have a special surprise gift and our adult children and I will take her out for dinner.

My children are adults. I always ask them to donate to an animal shelter or cause in my name. This year it's a campaign to save polar bears.
