ranted on for having a different opinion?
please tell me i'm not the only one getting ranted on just for being pro-choice and giving REAL advice if abortion is being considered in the pregnancy section. is there anything more i can do besides report these individuals, who are too chicken-sh*t to personally message me themselves if they have an issue?
unless you cannot read, i DID NOT ask for opinions on abortions. you can be against abortions for all i care. i simply asked whether or not there is anything i can do if someone who is answering a question is unfairly bashing me for having a different opinion. either answer my question or don't answer at all. that simple!
basically this came about because not only was i called "garbage" for answering an abortion question in the pregnancy section honestly, i was also called a skank and a whore by another individual who messaged me, but did not allow me to reply to her. i'm just sick to death of pro-choicers being insulted and ridiculed is all. abortions are just as much a part of a pregnancy as adoption and motherhood is.

The way I see it, the pro-life doctrine is dangerously misleading. We don't need scare tactics when simple facts will accomplish much more. People haven't bashed me for being pro-choice yet but I attribute that to the 99% of the time when my position is presented very diplomatically. Occasionally I'll get particularly peeved by people insisting that abortion equals depression, regret, breast cancer, and infertility. In those instances, I'll put out the facts and let the zealots latch on or continue being misinformed. What they do is out of my control. I can lead them to water but I can't make them drink.
If people are bashing, report them! I love watching posts vanish after they get huffy. That's what they get for being out of control. When you report these people, add these details in the text box: "Rant, insulting, attacks another user." If there are links, include the word spam. And of course, in the case where words like whore and skank are used, add "adult language" or "vulgarity" to the details.

It depends on what you and the other person actually are doing. For example, if the question is "Where can I get an abortion in Texas?" and you give pro-life advice, but never actually answer the question, YOU are violating the rules. Whether someone rants at you is not material. Almost all rants in the abortion arena are violations of the rules. If you see a violation, you should report it, don't respond, but also don't rant yourself.

well maybe you should stop criticizing people and just give a simple answer? You don't have to give them a whole lecture on what's right and wrong. And why report people. Its just a website. Ignore them or block them or get off!?

abortions are the most selfish thing any woman can do. it's murder and it's disgusting that other woman are pro choice!
edit: abortion is something that most people stand strong on and will get offended very easily over, that is why people freak out on each other over it. i don't think people should be able to ask abortion questions on this website...it's just stupid. all it does is get everyone all worked up!
