Christians? Do you believe in Hercules......?
Hercules was the son of god, do you believe in him?
Would you believe me if i told you that i was the son of god? What if i am the son of god? would you doubt me? Are you sure that Hercules is not the son of god?
@ aaronvgp
Well i have more common sense then you, because you believe in the "Bible"......You believe that a man died and resurrected later and died for your sins! who's pathetic here?
@ Dag Drahmr
What makes jesus more credible then me? i exist? i can be the son of god? you ask me to prove it, indeed the burden of proof is on the one who makes the claim. However where is the proof of jesus? you claim that he is in heaven with the farther? prove it?!
@ baseballkrba_10
but many Greeks believe that the Greek god of wine "Dionysus" was real? Can i prove a negative? HELL NO! so what makes Jesus more real then Dionysus????? You consider Hercules a myth, but Jesus is not? well if that's the case then Mithras was real as well.
we can both discard these "Gods" off a mythical figures but yet we can't do the same for jesus?????
@ ♦Echo♠
You seem like a smart girl but you know that "Hercules" is a mythical figure, what proof do you have to say that he was not real at all? you believe in jesus? hercules came before jesus, what makes you think that hercules is not the one true son of god? but jesus however get's the pass, i know why it's because of "FAITH"!
Edit:
@ ♦Echo♠
You have the bible indeed, and i have history! majority of the bible comes off a mythology! from previous religions that existed before Judaism & Christianity! did you know that?

You are attempting to reason with people who have rejected it.

Well, the ancient Greeks and Romans didn't even believe in Herakles, so yeah, I can tell you Herakles is not real.
Look, I get your point and it is well taken, but your argument is not valid to those who understand Greco-Roman paganism. Greco-Roman paganism wasn't a faith based religion and it never was. In fact, the Greeks and Roman thought faith was the lowest form of thought. That's why the Greek gods aren't Gods in the same sense that we consider a God. The Greeks worshiped forces of nature. Aphrodite, for example, is love. Eros IS sex. Demeter IS agriculture. The Greeks knew these things existed, the question was, Are they worth worshiping?
Read Ovid or Euripides if you don't believe me. These poets thought that these forces of nature were not worth worshiping. But they understood that Neptune (the sea) was real, you can see it.
Dionysus was wine you moron. Dont believe me? We get our word enthusiasm from the Greek word enthusiasmos. "en" is greek for in or within and "theos" means god. The greeks believed that when you drank wine you became enthused, meaning Dionysus (wine) was inside of you and making you drunk. Almost all educated Greeks thought this was a fun story and tradition, but didn't believe a word of it. I can start giving you names if you like.
I cant prove Jesus is the son of God. Even if I could, you wouldn't believe me, so I'm not even going to try. Im just showing people that you are an idiot that has no idea what he is talking about, because I get tired of you Atheists patting yourself on the back for being so smart, yet you haven't a clue.
Look, you dont have history. I am a Grad student at Notre Dame University studying Ancient and medieval history. I can read and write Latin and Ancient Greek and speak Italian and German. Yet, I am illogical for being Catholic? Give me a break....I have forgotten more than you will ever know.

hahaha nice question.
i'm a christian and i know that hercules is just part of the greek mythology.
soooo i don't believe in him. and i'm 100% sure hercules is not the son of god. but you...all of us are sons and daughters of God.
gee, i'm sorry if i don't have any proof to defend my beliefs.
just keep your angst to yourself, hate my answer or whatever.
edit: well, we have a bible...the mythologies did have stories and books of their own but they're mainly literature...people over there considered other religions.

If that is what you want to believe, more power to you but I don't have to believe. If you are a son of god then show me, for the only Son of God I know is in Heaven.

After reading that, if you told me you had any intelligence at all I would doubt it
To answer your question directed at me, i would have to say that you're the one that is pathetic. You come on here, put up a ridiculous question trying to prove a point that you admit yourself that you cannot prove. That makes you pathetic

Hercules was a badass of course i believe

This is a useless approach. They will rant on about how their god is the only true god and all others are false.
