Should plus sized kids be able to dress in designer clothes?

I just watched a segment on “Good Morning America”, where there is a group of people that are against plus sized kids wearing designer clothes. They feel that it promotes obesity. I am wondering how many people out there agree with that thought process. What are your thoughts???

Update:

I believe kids from all shapes and sizes should be able to have the same clothing options as everyone one else. If they want to fight obesity, then they need to fight to have PE brought back to the schools.

I'm underweight myself but I think it's absolutely ridiculous, no, INHUAMNE, that any group of people could say that plus sized kids wearing designer clothes is wrong.

It does not promote obesity, that idea is perfectly nonsensical. People aren't going to see a slightly larger child walking across the street in an Abercrombie and Fitch jumper and think, 'Oh, I think I'll stop worrying about my weight now.'

I think it's better to ban all those videos of crazed girls promoting anorexia and self-starvation than to ban these children, who are practically innocent, from wearing the clothes they wish.

I agree with your opinion completely; obesity can be tackled by sport, not clothing discrimination.

1 PE is in schools, 2 Designer clothes are for people who have the money so if you have the money then why not. 3 If the designers dont want the Fat flabby kids wearing their clothes then dont make large sizes. Sorry to be Harsh But some kids really should really eat healthier.

That's ridiculous. If you dont want the label to be worn by obese kids, move to Africa! Considering the fact that most kids today are obese in America but still wanna look "cool"

Plus, wearing these clothes probably boosts their self esteem and might take peoples eyes off the fact that theyre overweight.

I had to change the channel when I saw that. What has the world become? Now they want to dictate to people what an overweight person should wear. I agree they should bring PE back to school also. What about the girls that are starving themselves to be thin? Did you notice. . . they make designer clothes for them. My Goodness!

I wouldnt blame the kid for their obesity, sometimes its the parents that need to be blamed, and other times, sometimes the childs weight problem is just a health issue that causes them to be heavier.

I think its wrong for people to pick on obese kids. They are not the ones to blame.

That's just sick that people think they should ban plus size kids from wearing designer clothes--that's just pure ignorance.
