Is gay marriage, abortion and big spending making the Republican party think?

I'm not sure why the left thinks the GOP wants to be like that. Why should the GOP be expected to move into something it does not believe in? The GOP is restructuring because of this. Why should we too stray into sin and sin tax?

Update:

What a great answer and I so agree with you:

"No republican that strays away from their conservatives values will be receiving my vote."

Update 2:

Jesus also got in their face and said "satin get away from me". He did not put up with sin and still doesn't. Like Jesus, we love the sinner and hate the sin. Big spending? Don't even go there. How hypocriticle is that?

Jesus ate with the sinners, but you guys are too good to even allow them into your party.

as far as big spending goes, where were you the last 8 years?

Update 3:

Well said:

Compromise is for spineless sissies who have never had any core values to begin with.

You don't have to use systems like gay marriage and abortion, but if a majority of the US represents the ideas then the only thing you can do is educate people otherwise....

By the way, pointing and screaming does not get you what you want, it gets you a time out in my house kid. Attempting to take anything by force in our democracy would end our democracy. We vote, we don't terrorize like the Taliban does for votes. With that said, quit watching the news on television.

Who says we are? Gay marriage - and abortion should be state issues not National AND THEY SHOULD BE VOTED ON - BY THE PEOPLE - NOT MANDATED BY THE COURTS. Any candidate that starts getting into those issues is looking for trouble.

The spending....we all know that when our wallet is empty, we cant spend anymore - whats going on in Washington is INSANE

You know what I find the most funny? Both anti gay marriage and abortion (pro life) are considered the be Republican party ideologies when, in fact, they are not. People from both parties are both pro life and against gay marriage. But, because it is considered "intolerant" it has become a Republican "label". Makes no sense.

** CK4289** said......"Not a single bill that has been voted on by the People that put restrictions on abortion has passed for years. In fact, most lost by landslides."............The People do not vote on any BILLS to put restrictions on abortion. In fact, there was a bill that passed in Congress that put restrictions on partial birth abortions just a few years ago. In addition, most people are NOT pro choice. It is very evenly split.

I agree, it is hypocritical of you talking about big spending after 8 years of Bush and Republicans doubling the natioinal debt.

Not a single bill that has been voted on by the People that put restrictions on abortion has passed for years. In fact, most lost by landslides.

    The People are pro-choice.

The anti-choice plank of the Republican Party needs to be put in the trash, plain and simple.

  • The leftists think that everyone should be like them. They shift their beliefs based on what they think their constituency wants to hear. They would be in favor of barnyard sodomy tomorrow if some poll showed that their potential voters favored it.

Compromise is for spineless sissies who have never had any core values to begin with.

yeah, it took a long time to integrate black into the white population too. one step at a time. gays will be gay tomorrow. you can count on that. abortions is only an option for those that seek it.and big spending is not the worst thing to ever happen. actually, is can be a good thing. we have to wait and see

The convenient definition of sin and a belief in "God" is a means by which you can be controlled...no wonder the GOP is losing constituents, no one wants to be controlled any more!

GOP can go anyway it wants to. I won't follow & it's been proven that they can not win without people like me.
